Sure, he usually targetted the back and legs...I suppose that is bad psychology. Oh wait, no it's not because his finisher is the sharpshooter. Why would you ever work anything else? Why is it bad psychology to soften up the body part that you apply your finishing hold to? I only recall him locking the figure 4 on the post a few times btw. I'm pretty sure he didnt start doing that until the mid to late 90s. Are you saying the work of Scotty Too Hotty... a man who (no disrespect to him) did the worm in the ring, followed by a karate chop as a finisher was as convincing and hard hitting as Bret Hart's? The uncommon denominator in the safe equation is the fact that his work was 99.9% more realistic and yet he always took care of his opponent. THAT'S the difference. That's what made him great. He did the right move at the right time...and executed it better than anyone else. i think scootty 2 hottie was mor enturtanin den brett wat made brett so specil? ?

You still don't get it? Maybe Beenwah DOES have you explain to you the Rick Rude thing too! LOL!
Bret Hart works the legs and back, that's great. That isn't what I was getting at. What I WAS getting at, is how come after working the back and legs for 15 minutes, does he take the guy's legs while he's on his back, and INSTEAD of putting him in his finishing move..............he stomps on the guy's STOMACH. It's ok, I'll be waiting for your answer, tough guy.
And about the Scottie to Hottie thing: I'm not going to rewrite what I already said. Maybe you should just reread everything a second of third time before you post something so you don't look so stupid all the time.

Ok Devin you're right and I'm totally wrong.... I take back everything I said........NOOOOOTTTT!!!!!
Lol j/k
but no really here is my thing about this, I'm trying to have a grown up debate and you take cheap shot calling me a clown AND a meathead. And speaking of those casual meatheads, I do believe that about 90% of them say that he was great and well just about anything to put him over. Go to Canada and it's 100%. To me, Bret hart is the go to guy to say he's the greatest wrestler ever when you don't really know what you're talking about. Holding titles doesn't have anything to do with being overrated except in his and a few others cases. When you have the belt you sell merch. When you sell merch the marks of wrestling (you) buy all that shit and he becomes very very very popular and thought of the greatest wrestler that's ever lived when he's not that good, thus being overrated. As far as Rick rude goes I'll explain that later as my boss is walking around the office and if he catches me he'll be so mad at me he might tie up with me....a I wouldn't want that.

bret hart's expression never changes no matter what. whether he is enjoying a delicious sandwich or stomping mercilessly on a helpless prone opponent. it does not matter.

you're right sal! i remember him having the same expression when he won the wwf title the first time from that mark Ric Flair, that he had after the Montreal screw-job and he was writing the initials WCW in the air. i thought good pro wrestlers were suppose to show expressions. right devin?

Well, you're a fool of you think his expression never changed. Either that or just plain ignorant. He wasn't a cartoon character like most of the roster they had back then...that's actually why I liked him.
